Introduction

Hey everyone, my name is Nathaniel Mettenburg.  I started this blog for my sport communications class, but I also plan updating and posting to this even when the semester is over.  A little bit about myself, I'm from Sauk Centre, Minnesota.  I grew up playing a lot of sports but my favorites were hockey and baseball.  I played both until I graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 2013.  I was then offered to play hockey after high school for the Alexandria Blizzard.  During my last season there I was contacted to play hockey here at Slippery Rock University.  I was skeptical at first because I have never heard of the school and being from Minnesota it was a long ways away.  Once I saw the school I knew this is where I wanted to go.  I am currently majoring in sport management and minoring in leadership.
